The Hamilton Children’s Choir’s touring ensemble, Ilumini, has been invited to perform at the World Symposium on Choral Music in Macau—one of the most prestigious choral events in the world. Ilumini is one of only eleven choirs selected globally, and the only choir representing the Americas, an incredible honour for our singers and our community. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but international travel comes with high costs. We are committed to ensuring every singer can participate, regardless of financial barriers - this year, 44% of our choristers will receive financial assistance to participate in this tour.
